AMARILLO, Texas – Advanta Seeds, a leading international supplier of proprietary agricultural crop genetics and seed, announces the addition of Jose Manuel Garcia as Business Manager – Mexico.
In his new role, Jose Manuel will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Advanta Seeds Mexico business. He will lead market intelligence components, including market trends, competitive landscape and product positioning as well as customer needs assessments. Jose Manuel is also responsible for the coordination of all sales, marketing, planning and customer relation activities in Mexico with Advanta Seeds management and field staff.
“Jose Manuel’s business development experience will be a valuable asset to our leadership team as we continue to build the Advanta Seeds brand,” says Steve Ligon, North American business director for Advanta Seeds. “His sales and marketing background throughout Mexico will allow us to provide solutions to fill growers’ needs.”
Jose Manuel holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Hult International Business School in Boston, is currently completing his second Master’s Degree in Marketing from EGADE Business School, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial and Systems engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey.
Additionally, Jose Manuel holds several certifications in supply chain management including the Six Sigma Black Belt.
