Irving, Texas – Advanta Seeds, a global agriculture company specializing in seeds and agricultural solutions, announces Barry Lubbers as Business Director for North America.

Lubbers is a proven leader in agricultural sales, marketing and business development. He has over 25 years of experience matching product solutions to grower needs for improved agricultural production and profitability.

As Business Director for North America, Lubbers will build relationships and develop new crop technologies to provide farmers with the most suitable and productive seeds. He will drive new product introductions, including new hybrids in the Aphix™ sugarcane aphid tolerant lineup as well as new igrowth™ hybrids, the new commercial weed control technology for grain sorghum. He is also responsible for leading channel development, customer service and overall business management.

Lubbers began his career with Advanta Seeds in 2011 as Director of Sales. He has a strong understanding of the grain and forage sorghum business and is committed to delivering highly productive seed technologies growers need.

Prior to working at Advanta Seeds, Lubbers held sales positions with Cargill and Syngenta Seeds.
